Our next information session happens Wednesday, Feb. 6th, 2013, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in GHH 105. Join us to learn more about this exciting 7-credit study abroad program.  

When: May 20 through June 26 (Summer Session I, five weeks); May 20-June 8, 2013 in Brazil.

Where: Minas Gerais in Southeastern Brazil.

What: 7-credits, including one course in Anthropology (Campbell), one course in Communication (Prado), and a one-credit course in service-learning

Academic Goals of the Program:

  • Learn about the environment & human culture in Brazil
  • Learn to report accurately from the field, producing stories about environmental issues
  • Contribute to environmental and social justice movements through service work
  • Visit culturally and historically significant sites in the fifth largest country on earth
